Pick.e.at is an interactive discovery tool and community sharing platform for mealtime ideas. It is designed to assist parents, caregivers, and pediatric specialists in exploring food sensory properties (textures, temperatures, colors) and brainstorming gradual food chaining pathways.

Pick.e.at does NOT provide medical advice, clinical diagnosis, feeding therapy, speech-language pathology treatment, or individualized medical nutrition therapy. The content, sensory blueprints, bridge suggestions, and parent stealth hacks are for general informational and exploratory purposes only.

Food manufacturers frequently modify their ingredients, formulations, processing facilities, and allergen cross-contamination warnings without public notice. Third-party product databases (including Open Food Facts) and AI inference models may not reflect recent brand formula changes.

Caregivers must ALWAYS physically inspect the product packaging, ingredient list, and allergen declarations prior to purchasing or serving any food to a child with known food allergies, celiac disease, or dietary restrictions. Pick.e.at is directed solely at parents, guardians, and adult caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information directly from children under 13.

We only collect first names or nicknames (e.g., "Leo") and broad age bands (e.g., "4–5 Years") for profile personalization. All profile and sensory data is stored locally on the user's device (`localStorage`) by default and is never sold or shared with third-party advertisers.
